A modern vibe with a touch of tradition is exactly what these homeowners had in mind when designing their dream home. Included in this 7,500 square foot build, you are greeted by a 2 story Entryway decorated with large windows, a gorgeous chandelier, and set of stairs leading to the upper level of the home. The main living space is an entertainers dream as it extends 75 feet in length and flows through the formal living, dining, and designer kitchen. Upon entry through the breeze way, you will find an oversized mudroom including a commercial grade water fountain, custom built ins, and an adjacent laundry room.
On the West wing of the home, you enter the pool den decorated with gorgeous white peacock pavers, a beverage center, and a full bathroom with custom mud space. The oversized double sliding doors open the den into the outdoor living space complete with a brick fireplace, gas grill, and griddle top. The stunning white peacock pavers extend from the living space to the backyard which houses the 500 square foot heated pool and spa.
The master suite showcases a beautiful, vaulted ceiling and grand master bathroom. Adjacent to the master is the home office which includes its own full bath, and a murphy bookcase door adding the perfect touch to this masculine design. On the upper level of the home, the homeowners designed a child’s living space, leading to 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and an additional laundry room.

Building has not only been a lifelong interest of Casey Forshag—it has been a passion. Casey’s foundation of construction knowledge and wisdom started two generations before him when his grandfather, John L. Crosby, started building in New Orleans in 1954. “I can remember in high school thinking, ‘Why can’t I just go build with grandpa?’” says Casey. “I grew up on construction sites and have always loved the process.”
A graduate of Louisiana State University in Construction Management, Casey is licensed in Louisiana as a Residential Contractor, Real Estate Sales Agent, and Defective Drywall Consultant. Let Forshag Construction help build your family’s future.
